TLS Engineering LLC provided electrical engineering consulting services for the Riley’s Pointe Lift Station project in San Marcos, Texas.
TLS calculated the electrical load and coordinated with the local electric utility company, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and designed the electrical service distribution. The scope included providing an electrical site plan layout, designing the grounding and surge suppression systems, and site lighting. TLS also designed the Pump Control Panel with variable frequency drives (VFDs) for three 20 horsepower pumps. This project included selecting a 100kW diesel generator to provide backup power at the lift station site.
TLS designed a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Panel, working with the City of San Marcos Systems Integrator. Throughout the design process, TLS coordinated with City of San Marcos personnel to ensure all of their standards and preferences were met.
